Honeywell Smart Management Module
Power Management Module for 240-Volt Loads up to 50 Resistive Amps or 40 Inductive Amps.
The Honeywell 50 Amp Load Management Module optimizes standby generator performance by controlling power to high demand loads. Each Smart Management Module, or SMM, receives a priority setting from 1-8 or a lock-out mode setting for loads that should never run on generator power. A Honeywell generator system can accept up to 8 Smart Mangement Modules.
During a power outage, each module monitors the generator power frequency. A drop in frequency means the generator engine is struggling. The 50 Amp SMM follows a power management algorithm to prevent generator overload.
Power Management with a Load Shed device like the Honeywell Smart Management Module allows smaller, more efficient generators to power homes and small businesses. It ensures that the most important loads have power without overloading the generator.
